Through this drought, Arizonans are switching to eco-friendly solutions for their entire lives.
In the kitchen, residents are buying eco-friendly appliances such as dishwashers, refrigerators, garbage disposals and sinks. EnergyStar.gov is a joint effort with the environmental protection agency that is working to help people save money and resources with eco-friendly solutions in products and practices. Their seal speaks power in terms of green practices. These green modern kitchen appliances and hardware can be found at local hardware and appliance stores all bearing the EnergyStar logo on them.
Over the past few years, cabinet makers have also begun to go out of their way in contributing to this cause as well. The most expensive and practical piece of furniture in homes are now in correlation with the efforts of environment saving appliances.
