Google AdWords does however; provide you with a tool to see what the estimated cost per click would be for your selected keywords. This is also extremely helpful to see how competitive your keywords really are.
Getting a Pay-Per-Click campaign started is simple. All you need to do is get signed up to a Google AdWords account. And if you already have a Gmail account, it’s as easy as using the same address (if you choose). Once you’re signed up, you can immediately use the ‘Google AdWords Keyword Tool’ to start getting estimates on your chosen keywords and terms. You can also set up your daily budget for each campaign. Other options including choosing the type of advertisement you wish displayed, either text, an image, or even both. You can then choose where you want your advertised links to be displayed. These will either be advertised links by Google found in Google Search Results, or inside websites with AdSense installed on them. It is often recommended to go with both options to ensure maximum visibility.
Pay-Per-Click advertisement is also not just limited to Google. You’ll find other variations of Pay-Per-Click in the form of in-text advertising, where your website’s content will automatically change into links depending on the advertised affiliate.
Social media sites such as Facebook have their own version of Pay-Per-Click advertising as well. And with a never-ending growth of users, it is no surprise that Facebook is one of the most commonly used websites in the world. It is for that reason that using a Pay-Per-Click campaign with Facebook can greatly increase traffic to your site.
