In today"s world it is extremely hard to live the Christian life that God wants us to live. You have too much stuff to tempt you away from the Lord"s will and into Satan"s hand. With all the trouble I decided to help out everyone by writing an article on what we are expected to do as a Christian.
I will not quote Bible reference due to the fact that there may be some that don"t like to hear them.
The first thing we must do as Christians is to follow God"s laws and decrees with all of our heart and soul. By doing this we are ensuring a spot in Heaven with Jesus, and helping to rid us of evil. We must also ask for forgiveness every time we break a rule, commandment, or sin against God.
We must stay faithful to our Lord, and have the courage to stand up for what is right. We must rid ourselves of sexual immorality, impurity, lust, evil desires, greed, idolatry, anger, rage, malice, slander, lying, and filthy language. We must do this so that we can let God"s Word dwell in our hearts.
We need to fill ourselves with love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, gentleness, self-control, and charity. If you can fill yourselves with these principals, following the laws will come exceptionally easier. We must show the kindness of Christ, even to our enemies. Devote yourself to prayer.
We must not conform to the ways of the world; we must instead transform ourselves by renewing our mind by conforming to God"s Will. God is the only judge of mankind, therefore we should not judge anybody, because we all sin.
We must acknowledge and serve God in all thoughts and actions. We must follow through with what He and the Holy Spirit tells us to do. We must spread the Word of God to all corners of the Earth, so that all may know God"s plan for us all and give them a chance for salvation. We must remember when the world seems like it"s winning, our reward shall come when Jesus comes back to Earth, and that our reward will make up for everything.
The last thing to keep in mind is that it easier to spread the Word when you can find a common link with the people but without finding yourself in sin. Confrontational Converting goes completely against what the Bible preaches to us, and just adds fuel to anger.
I never said that living the Christian Life was easy, but remember what reward came out of something easy. Well I hope that this gave you all a better understanding of the life to lead.
