Anyone remember his kid, this super delegate? Jason Rae (born Nov., 1986) is a Democratic National Committee notable, from the state of Wisconsin. Rae is the youngest person ever elected to the DNC. And he made headline news two weeks ago when Chelsea Clinton invited him to breakfast to try and win him over to her mom. Her mommy!

Well, the Wisconsin primary is over and so is Jason"s "uncommitted" position. He"s now decided whom he wants to vote for. I guess the Chelsea breakfast wasn"t all that impressive.

Two days after the vote, the college junior - who will be the youngest superdelegate at this year"s Democratic National Convention — is undecided no longer: he"s backing Barack Obama. Here"s his own words about his decision.................

"The Democratic Party is fortunate to have two very talented individuals running for President this election," said Rae in a statement released by the Obama campaign Thursday. "It is a difficult choice for anyone, but in the end, the choice for me has become clear. I am proudly supporting Senator Barack Obama."

And additionally, the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel has an e-mail that Rae sent to friends today:

Friends--

I wanted to write to you today, before you see it in the news, to inform you that I have officially endorsed Senator Barack Obama for President of the United States. This was a difficult decision for me to make. While I had every intention of remaining neutral in the race, Tuesday?s primary results showed a huge movement in Wisconsin, a movement of which I want to be a part.

Back in 2004, I ran for the Democratic National Committee because I wanted to represent America?s next generation of voters. Well, yesterday, that generation spoke. According to CNN exit polls, 73% of 18-to-24 year olds turned out in support of Senator Obama. That is an outstanding number. But it wasn?t only young people turning out; people all over Wisconsin turned out overwhelming to support Senator Obama. I have a responsibility to listen to the voices that I am representing.

I do firmly believe that we have two qualified, talented candidates seeking the nomination. However, when I see one candidate energizing a new generation like Senator Obama is, I cannot help but be impressed and inspired. As I think about who I want to lead our country and party forward, I cannot think of another candidate to do that than Senator Barack Obama.

I just wanted to take a moment to share this note with you. Please do not hesitate to contact me if you have any questions, comments, or concerns. All my best to you for a wonderful day.

Respectfully, Jason

The Obama tsunami rolls on!

And did you know that Obama won the 11th campaign victory (and an additional 7 delegates votes) officially yesterday? He won the "Democrats Abroad" primary. I tell you, the Democrats have more ways to screw up a campaign just to enlarge the tent. Sometimes, you cna"t satisfy all the people all the time. And maybe, just maybe the Democrats are finding that applicable to themselves this election cycle.
