Avid fans who have missed seeing Prison Break"s Maricruz Delgado might just be lucky as news spread out that Camille Guaty may possibly appear again on the FOX hit show.
According to the 29-year-old actress, she just received word that she might go back to Prison Break. Maricruz is the one and only woman who hold Fernando Sucre"s (Amaury Nolasco) heart and soul. Guaty admits that she finds her character irresistible. "I love the character, Maricruz; I love the relationship between her and Fernando. I would have loved to have done a little more on that show, but I wasn"t really available at the time. So we"ll see, if I"m not tied into another show," she stated.
Camille Guaty currently plays the role of Piper Nielsen on the NBC dramedy Las Vegas. She was part of Prison Break during the first two seasons and was last seen in a heartbreaking episode where Sucre confessed to the expectant mother that he will not be able to come back home. The two exchanged their sad goodbyes and parted over the phone.
If she would be given a chance to contribute to the soap"s storyline, Guaty says she would suggest that Maricruz gives birth and goes on to prepare rescuing Fernando. "I would love to have the baby and then try to get Fernando out of prison myself, like I"d become this commando girl who tries to get her lover out of prison and bring him home," she hushed in an interview with TV Guide. Guaty makes this suggestion out of studying the character"s emotions and motivations. "Love is what"s driving him (Fernando), so she (Maricruz) might totally do something like that for him."
Aside from Prison Break and Las Vegas, Camille Guaty has frequented several TV series in the past including Without a Trace, The Nine, Crossing Jordan, American Family, Joey, The Help, The Brothers Garcia, E.R., What I Like About You and Raising Dad to name a few..
