However, the Svenska Spel monopoly restricts non-Swedish online bingo operators from taking advantage of the uptake in Swedish bingo online playing.Svenska Spel is the largest gaming company in Sweden and enjoys a 55% market share.Sweden currently faces possible action by the European Commission due to the restriction in the Swedish market of gaming companies from other European Union (EU) nations.
