» The Aspirin Lie

Here is my direct experience with "THE ASPIRIN LIE." I had been working with a middle-aged man who was not ill he just wanted to get healthier. I gave him some advice on diet, cleansing, detoxing, etc. He was very motivated and followed my instructions to the letter. And the last time I talked to him he was doing very well and noticed a positive change in his health.

About 5 months went by and I did not here from him. Then a mutual friend called me and said "did you here about so and so". I said no and she proceeded to tell me why I had not heard from him. It seems that he had been struck by a hemorrhagic stroke that nearly killed him. I could not believe it because the last time I saw him he was doing so well, it did not make sense.

I called him on the phone and he came to my office for a visit. When I saw him I was horrified he could barely walk with a cane and he looked like he aged 30 years. Here is the story he told me. The last time he saw me he thought he would go and get a physical check-up to see if how good he felt would match with the doctor"s findings. During the physical they took his blood pressure one time and said it was high. So the doctor wrote him a prescription for a blood thinner medication and also told him to take an aspirin every day.

A few weeks later he was in the hospital with a hemorrhagic stroke. I told him he should see a lawyer. He asked me why he would need a lawyer. I gave him a few facts about what had happened. For one thing in order to establish that a patient really has high blood pressure it should be checked a number of times not just once; that is malpractice. Then I told him something every physician in the country should be aware of. It has been proven that to take an aspirin every day doubles your chances of having a hemorrhagic stroke. I gave him some naturopathic advice on how to speed-up his recovery and he is doing as well as can be expected.

Here is where the lie about an aspirin a day is good for your heart comes from. When the experiments were done using aspirin they used buffered aspirin. Buffered aspirin is buffered with the mineral magnesium. Magnesium is scientifically proven to be very good for your heart. Aspirin is not good for your heart and could kill you.

The amount of magnesium we receive in the American diet has dropped 50% due to poor farming and refined foods. If you are not getting enough magnesium here is what you might be feeling, depression, migraines, leg cramps, osteoporosis, fatigue and nausea to name a few. Here is how bad it can get heart attack, high blood pressure, abnormal heart rhythms, and of course coronary heart disease.

Aspirin kills 7 thousand people in America every year. The only thing good about taking an aspirin a day is the aspirin companies get rich. So here is my advice folks take magnesium every day not aspirin.
