This, dear readers, is the story of the legendary tank in Lapta, which is frequently visited both by foreigners and locals. There is a legend about a tank driving up to the peak of the Five Finger Mountains during the 1974 Peace Operation and breaking down. Those, who have not seen the tank or its pictures, think it is a war myth. This legendary tank, however, is the armoured vehicle of Special Forces assigned to hit the enemy from the side and the back during the Lapta battles on August 2nd, 1974.
