In the fag end of the last decade of the 21st century and the first few years of the present century there was a great furor over the invention of the erectile dysfunction drugs. There are many who vehemently oppose this kind of over the top publicity. The ethical and moral groups of the world are very much against the out of the world publicity strategies of the ED drugs. But if we look into the matter from the commercial and financial point of view, we will realize that the publicity was inevitable to the life and survival of the oral ED treatments.

The religious concerns of the world and particularly the church had a lot to say and protest against. Sex from time immemorial was an issue that was not to be discussed in the open. It was a private affair between two individuals and any aspect related to sex was to be limited to those two individuals only. This was the norm of the day and in those days this kind of discretion was necessary also. Certain strict rules and regulations are necessary for the moral and ethical health of the society at large. But then, with the passage of time the church and the other moral and ethical institutions became more of a liability then guidance over the morality of the society. They became rigid and biased regarding any aspect related to the topic of sex. How far they are right or wrong remains to be seen but there was definitely a big hue and cry from all the conservative quarters during the launch of the erectile dysfunction drugs.

As I already mentioned we are now in the times of globalization and as such like all the other products, the ED drugs also needed an adequate and proper publicity for them to become popular. Thus the makers of these drugs took to a publicity strategy that would satisfy their purpose and at the same time would not rage the anger and resent of the powerful conservative religious and ethical concerns. The drug makers first of all aimed at gaining the support of these concerns and they succeeded also to some extent.

However, the strategy of the ED medications in keeping with the trends of globalization was quite over the top. This publicity campaign was also misleading to some extent. The ED drugs are fraught with side effects. All the ED drugs are also strictly prescribed drugs. But in the publicity campaigns the side effects were not focused upon. Thus these drugs were used as entertainment drugs and for casual sex by many teenagers. Though the side effects are mentioned they are not focused upon. We cannot be sure whether this is a deliberate step on the part of the Producers or a genuine slip.

Whatever, the case, nobody is complaining as long as the ED drugs are capable of curing the nagging trouble of erectile dysfunction. As a result of the almost ferocious publicity, today even in the case of oral ED drugs, there are best sellers. Inspite of being invented first, Viagra has been overtaken by the Cialis drug.

Cialis Pill has often been dubbed as the weekend pill in the publicity campaigns because of its unusually lasting effects. People can now also buy Cialis online. But it cannot be denied that a bit of proper enlightening publicity can go a long way in avoiding mishaps arising out of Cialis abuse or for that matter any other drug abuse.
