» The Michigan Primary

Article written by Ernie Fitzpatrick with 0 views in News and Society category.

We"re moving ever closer to Super Tuesday- February 5th. The lastest primary is now in the rear view mirror and what did the Michigan primary tell us? Nothing different than Iowa or New Hampshire primaries. We"ve had three primaries and we now have three different winners: Huckabee, McCain, and now Mitt Romney. Now what?

Before Super Tuesday, we have to go through three more warm up primaries.

This weekend we see the Nevada caucus rucus resume as the Clintonites try to keep people from voting in the Casinos and block the Culinary Unions decision to back Obama. From there, the caravans move to South Carolina where many a past campaigns have been established.

But then there"s Florida where the name RUDY appears. Guiliani has built his political model on a start in Florida. What a unique strategy. But, will it work? Then with those three primaries out of the way, we have Super Tuesday and the 22 states that it represents. Will we know come February 5th? Probably!

But then come February 6th, or soon thereafter, we might know if Michael Bloomberg is going to really stir things up with the announcement of a third party bid!
