Poet Henry Van Dyke wrote, "Time is too slow for those that wait, too swift for those that fear, too long for those who grieve, and too short for those who rejoice. But for those who LOVE, time is NOT". If one can grasp the truth of those words, the world would be transformed. Maybe we yet can. Maybe we will yet want such.
Several years ago I discovered Eccl. 3:15.
I also discovered Eckhart Tolle and his wonderful book, The Power of NOW! I am hopeful that I can increase my NOW living more each month. With so many impressions bombarding us each minute of the day, and with so much over-stimulation, getting quiet to embrace the NOW seems near impossible. There is so much more than theism and the endless search for happiness.
John Wheeler put it this way, " Time is what prevents everything from happening at once".
So, the fact that we live in this third dimensional world with concepts such as minutes, hours, day, months, and so is probably what saves us from insanity. Who can handle even what they currently have on their plate, let alone that which is around the corner. We have so many un-opened gifts if we"d just go within and discover their reality.
As the collective consciousness begins to grow exponentially we"re going to see some amazing things happen to humanity between now and 2012. I"m not sure about all those physical things that might come our way such as passing comets, planets, galactic crossings, black holes, or a host of other scientific phenomena. Those things will either happen or not; however, we do possess the ability and power to transform our world, the entire planet. It will mean that we have to quit running from the guilt of the past and quit worrying about the fear of the future.
Timeless NOW living will allow us to avert global catastrophies that otherwise might lead us into perilous times: before 2012!
