Check The Expiration Date : Sprays are ineffective beyond their expiration date. Replace Your Sprays Every Year !
• Do not leave your CS, CN or OC Pepper Spray in extreme Hot or Cold or Direct Sunlight : This could lower the SHU or cause the canister to explode in temperatures above 130 degrees.
• Test The Function Of Your Pepper Spray: Once a month while outdoors shoot a quick blast of pepper spray to test the charge in the canister.
• Get to know how it works: Do not wait until an attack to figure out how the features of your Defense Spray function.
• Always keep your personal defense spray in an easily accessible place: The best places are in your hand, on your belt , key ring , pocket or on the passenger seat in the car when traveling alone.
