1. Keywords
The first thing you need to know is which keyword you want to try and rank for. When you figure that out you need to create an anchor text for the keyword that way the URL will be hidden with the keyword you want to rank for. This tells the search engines what your site is about.
Now, for ever traffic technique below you need to incorporate your anchor text into all of them to get more exposure and more back links to your site.
2. Articles
You can write Articles for your site. Write articles that pertain to your topic and then send out the articles to as many directories as you can. The more directories you send them to the more back links you will get from one article.
3. Social Bookmarking
Social Bookmarking is when you save your website to a list of your favorites on a certain site. Others can read about your favorite sites and can bookmark them or visit them or there self.
4. Forum
You can participate in forums and read other peoples comments. You can either post a question or maybe even answer someone else"s questions.
