I am amazed at how little I know- how ignorant I am of life, spiritual matters, and the universe. Worse yet, I am surprised, maybe even shocked, at what I once believed, embraced, and felt were fundamental truths only to wake up and discover I was living in a dream world of sorts: truly a Matrix! This veil of ignornace gives power to the elite who are no further advanced in knowledge of truth, but greatly advanced in how to manipulate people.
Having awakened spiritually (but still groggy) has brought me closer to the Creator. Having awakened emotionally has allowed me to love everyone: yes, everyone! Having awakened intellectually has led me to expound on the 2012 theme and concept, but not so much as to an end date, but a oneness with cosmology.
Cosmology?
Cosmologists study of the large-scale structure of the universe and are concerned with fundamental questions about its formation and evolution. Cosmology involves itself with studying the motions of the celestial bodies and the first cause. For most of human history, it has been a branch of metaphysics. Metaphysics is the branch of philosophy (one of seven) that investigates principles of reality transcending those of any particular science, traditionally, cosmology and ontology.
Here"s the point. Cosmologists claim that they know about ONE PERCENT of all there is to know about our universe. ONE! And religion tells us that we know it ALL and what doesn"t make sense to take it in FAITH? That"s a cover up for the fear of being proven wrong, losing control, and falling prey to the things that go bump in the night.
The power of ignorance can be illustrated, among other times and places, with the reign of Peter the Great of Russia. He built monuments to himself and kept the peasants under his thumb due to their sense that they were powerless. Hundreds of thousands were killed or died under his oppressive regime. He treated the people likes cows- chattel, and they believed it.
Both the state and the church came into agreement with each other to deny people the "right to think". The church and state are still in that business today. The government withholds all manner of information that would hinder their ability to rule. The church tries to keep people in "denominational boxes" and sells fear and intimidation to anyone who would even question the orthodoxy (if that"s the right word) of the institution.
Ronald Reagan said on September 21, 1987, before the United Nations, "I occasionally think how quickly our differences worldwide would vanish if we were facing an alien threat from outside this world. And yet, I ask is not an alien force already among us".
Yes! And we will become seekers of truth instead of possessors of perceived truth.
That alien force is the power of the elite to keep the veil of ignorance over the general populace for their benefit wherein as Obama has said, "Some corporate executives make more money in ten minutes than does a person for a whole year". But there"s coming an "outside alien force" that will force us to work together and that"s the benefit of what I see wrapped up in the December 21, 2012 discussions. Whatever bad may come (if it does), the good will far out weigh it. REAL CHANGE is truly in the air and it"s not just a political one.
We"re on the cusp of a transformed consciousness that will take us to new heights we never knew were possible!
