Apple and Chinese resellers are involved in a lawful action from the court because the ipad name in China does not possess a trademark. The court has appealed to Apple to leave the matter in the hands of court.

A legal action has been taken by the court against Apple and its Chinese resellers. According to the court, Cupertion does not possess any trademark against ipad in China. The leading monitor producer company Preview international in Hong Kong registered the ipad trademark in the year 2000 has filed the case and claim$1.5bn.During 2000 and 2004 the company obtained all the rights linked to the name in many countries in the world. And during 2006 the company sold the trademark to Apple approximately about $35,000 but on the other hand they deny on this statement and said that this is not applicable in China.
Apple filed a complaint against preview technology to acquire the rights of the trademark. During this week Shenzhen intermediate people’s Court took the side of Proview and appeal to Apple to leave the matter on court. Xiao Caiyuan a famous lawyer in support of Preview at Guangzhou Guanine spokes to Financial Times that Apple is such a giant sized company and carries an excellent goodwill that nobody would think that Apple can disobey on our scholar property rights. As this is a nature of every human being that small scale companies always infringe big scale companies.
In the southern Chinese cities of Shenyang and Huizhou Preview took an immediate action that the company put a halt on the sales of ipad till the first hearing. For Apple Chinese reseller operations, the company has many big plans for them. Xie Xianghui a leading lawyer of a Chinese law firm said that our mission has started from these two states and if we got succeeded in stopping the sales of ipad then we would move toward some other place.
Facing all such problems is not a big issue for iphone. In such case, if the hearing is against Apple then this would not hurt the company because it has enough funds to meet up any claims. Li Su, representative of Preview said that with such a judgment it would be very easy for Preview to negotiate with apple. Moreover Apple is a very huge firm nobody would imagine that it may disobey property rights.
