Piaggio is the World’s fourth largest Italian two wheeler manufacturer has recently bought only two of their brands out of the seven first time at the ‘2011 Mumbai International Motor show’ in India namely, Aprilia RSV4 and Vespa-LX 125. According to the news, the new launches will soon hit the roads of India. As the popular manufacturers like Suzuki, Honda, Ducati, Yamaha etc introducing their fresh arrivals, Aprilia and Vespa will also launch their bikes by the end of 2011 or in 2012.

Aprilia has bought their new stylish and sporty bike Aprilia-RSV to India. According to the news the bike will come with a price tag of $20k. The stunning bike will be available in classy white or in simple black and will win the heart of many youngsters. The bike is equipped with many advance features. The bike has DOHC i.e. Double Overhead camshafts, 4 stroke, 4 valves, V 4 cylinder and liquid cooled engine of 999.6 cc. The cool looking bike delivers high power output of 180 CV that is, 132.4 kW at 12,500 rpm and maximum 115Nm torque at 10,000 rpm. The capacity of fuel tank in Aprilia-RSV4 is 17 litres with 4 litres of fuel reserve capacity. The front brake of the bike is 320 mm in diameter with dual stainless steel disc and the rear break has 220 mm diameter disc. The stunning bike will come with a dimension of 2040 mm of length, 735 mm width and 1120 mm height. The Aprilia RSV4 weighs 184 kg which will be very helpful in maintaining the balance.

Now Talking about the Vespa-LX 125, According to the news, Board of directors of Piaggio and Co. Spa has decided to start the production of the stunning scooter soon in India and the scooter will hit the Indian roads by the end of 2012. The Vespa LX 125 will be available in four shades like Nero Lucido, Cleste glamour, Blue Midnight, Rosso dragon. The scooter is equipped with 4 stroke, single cylinder 124 cc engine. The Vespa- LX 125 scooter will delivers output of 7.63 kW at the rate of 8250 rpm and 9.6 Nm (Max) torque at the rate of 7250 rpm. The scooter has inbuilt features of kick and electric start, disc and drum brake at front and rear respectively. The both launches will prove to be very comfortable which will give an enjoyable and Pleasurable ride.
