Bathroom design is a logical process and a planning area within which good planning and a relatively small expense can transform the 'smallest room in the house "in a room where we can be performed ablutions in a reasonably luxurious environment. No matter how much a tight budget, you're on or how little space you have, the benefits of a relaxing soak in a large tub or a massage in a shower can not be under estimated. So, ask your bathroom design right the first time around.

Much will obviously depend on what space you have. Here are some simple considerations to consider when planning your bathroom design. There are four main types of materials used to manufacture shower trays. These are steel, acrylic, resin stone and acrylic capped.

Shower forms:
• Steel is less common in domestic use and is generally used in commercial applications such as retirement homes and hotels
• acrylic tray used to be very common, but received a bad reputation because of the poor quality of construction of platforms in the past. The use of poor management and capacity meant that the minimum plate moved during use and often leak. Modern acrylic trays are generally built to a very high standard and are fully reinforced. All acrylic trays are on adjustable legs and are therefore ideal in applications where a floor is solid concrete on site. The result of this quality built, is that acrylic trays are not an inexpensive option.
• stone resin trays are by far the most common platforms available. The low cost of production molds for the trays makes then the most versatile size. They are available in two formats and UN-legged legs (the most common being without legs). The two most common problems with trays resin relate to the quality of the installation. The first is that if the set of UN-legged in bed is not properly, it can cause the base of the pan to crack during use. The second is that the color of the plate is applied as a finishing spray fine. The result of this is that if you scratch the plate during installation, it is extremely difficult to repair.
• Acrylic capped resin trays are becoming more popular. They combine the rigidity of the resin plate of stone, but have the added advantage of being limited to acrylic. This produces a surface that is more shock resistant and can be polished if scratched. However, they are more expensive to produce and as such are not available in the same number of dimensions that the resin stone.
