The growth of tender breast “buds” is more often than not the primary sign of puberty in girls. Some girls become aware of breast enlargement as early as age 7 or 8, while others don’t start awaiting age 13 or so.

The timing is strong-minded by your own biologic “clock” that tells your corpse to start produce high levels of female hormones.
Breasts go from side to side five “stages” of growth over the next five to six years, awaiting their full adulthood is reached by age 17 or 18.

The start of breast growth is one of the earliest signs of puberty in girls, the look of pubic hair being the other. In other words, pubic hair and breast buds come into view close together.

Breast development in general begins about 1 year before the mestrual period begins. The development take several years.

Female Changes

Most women take in that just before menstruation their breasts enlarge and their nipples become responsive and even painful.

The texture of the breasts transform and they become rather lumpy, with small discrete swellings that be similar to orange pips in both texture and size.

These lumps are glands in the breast which enlarge in grounding for pregnancy.

Stages of Breast Development

There have been several studies about breast development in girls and they have recognized a prototype in the growth pattern of developing breasts.

This growth pattern has been alienated into five stage of breast development. These stages take eight to ten years for a young woman to go from side to side before breast development is total.

Stage 1 (The child less than 10 years old)
In this time period the child is growing in all areas, however expansion of breasts is not yet seen.

Areola's are only brownish spots where there will one day be full breasts and fully developed nipples.

Stage 2 (Beginning development age 8-13)

There are some conflicting viewpoints as to the age at which this stage begins.

There are those that say that it begin at nine years, but it is well established that there are factors (such as obesity, which increases Leptin, the hormone necessary to begin puberty and breast development) that can transport about early onset of this stage.

In this stage small breast buds develop in training for growth of the ducts. Menarche will begin just about four years after this stage.

Stage 3 (Ages 12-14 years)

Breast Development Exercises

1. In this stage the breasts buds are start to enlarge. There may be some pain or discomfort.

2. Stand in a straight line with your feet shoulder apart. Raise your arms to shoulder level, elbows bent so that your hands are in front of your chest and your elbows are the same height as the bear.

3. Stand straight with your feet shoulder apart. Extend your arms behind your back and interlock your fingers. This is the starting position.

4. Sit on your legs, with legs moving the ground, look onward and hold your arms straight on the sides so that they are in line at the bear level. Stretch your hands backwards as though to touch the back of the palms jointly.

5. Stand on your knees and feet together (or divide if more contented), feet flat on the floor. If this is hard, begin with the balls of your feet on the floor. Lean backward, slowly attainment for the right heel with the right hand and then the left heel with the left hand.
