Other international brand that competes is German giant Volkswagen with its Polo.

The base variant of Volkswagen Polo is priced at Rs 4, 42, 00. Recently Hyundai has launched its cheapest car Hyundai Eon in the market. The new Hyundai Eon price starts from Rs 2, 69,999 for its base variant and Rs 3, 71,869 for its top end variant.

In the range of Rs 5 lakh to Rs 10 lakh, the most of the cars are luxury sedan and SUV’s. The sedan segment is highly dominated by the Honda City with its class features whereas the SUV segment is flooded with the Mahindra cars. Above this price range all are the premium cars which are made only for the high class audience of the society. The czars of this segment are mainly BMW, Mercedes and Audi.
