In order to ensure they were achieving the maximum quality control, Cuprinol decided to review their existing industrial liquid filters to see if there were better options. Having found Russell Finex and following a consultation with a highly experienced sales representative, the company installed the Self-Cleaning Russell Eco Filter® on six filling lines. These industrial filters were installed to remove any oversize contamination from the product prior to canning. With these filters in operation 16 hours a day, Cuprinol has seen significant increases in processing efficiency and productivity.
Bill Andrews, Cuprinol’s Engineer Manager, states “Our customers come first – this means giving them a consistently high quality product. The purchase of the industrial filters has been key in being able to provide this through achieving consistent filtration quality”.
There are many key features of the Self-Cleaning Russell Eco Filter®. Its unique industrial self-cleaning filter element operates on a flow-through principle, eliminating dead spots. This enables the filter to operate at high volumes, and also minimizes good product loss. In addition, its fully enclosed design safeguards the safety of operators as they are not exposed to hazardous fumes. This has enabled Cuprinol to meet stringent Health and Safety standards. In addition, the product is also protected from airborne and other contamination. “The industrial filters have helped us to maintain a clean and hygienic processing line, whilst also safeguarding our operators” states Andrews.
Manufactured at Russell Finex’s ISO9001 accredited factory, the Eco range has seven different models to meet customers’ specific capacity requirements and filtration needs.
