4. Contact lenses should always be kept in a clean hygienic place. Otherwise, it can cause infection.
5. People should not sleep while wearing a lens, else it can also cause problem to a person.
6. The lens should be used only up to that period advised by a doctor. Using a lens after its expiry date is not at all advised. It can cause infection due to growth of bacteria and other micro organisms.
Following these few steps people can overcome the disadvantages of contact lens. None of these are very hard to maintain, people just have to remember and take care of their lenses.
