In an effort to provide continuously affordable treatments for all clients, Dr. Broc Pratt recently entered into partnership with in-patient financing company Care Credit to provide an alternative source of financing for patients. Even though there are many reasons cosmetic enhancements can also be considered beneficial to one’s health, a lot of insurance companies still refuse to accept its validity as a for-health procedure and refuses to reimburse its policyholders for their expenses. Having heard the many horror stories his clients had shared regarding their struggles with their insurance companies, the doctor made sure his clinic, The Refine Institute, will not allow its clients to experience the same problems others have encountered. This is made possible by its partnership with Care Credit.

Care Credit offers promotional financing to patients who wish to undergo cosmetic procedures. There are two types of financing plans available. The first plan is for patients to pay back the money they owe without having to pay any interest as long as they are able to pay off their loan in entirety within the given timeframe. The client chooses how long she wishes for her loan to last. Options available are six months, 12 months, 18 months, and 24 months or two years. A minimum monthly payment is required to settle the principal of the loan for this type of financing. Moreover, if the client is opting for a financing plan that will take longer than six months to pay off, then there is a minimal amount of purchase that she will have to qualify for as well. Thankfully, major treatments offered by the clinic qualify for Care Credit financing options other than the 6-month payment plan.

The second type of financing plan Care Credit offers is called the extended payment plan. Patients of Dr. Broc Pratt are given the choice to purchase a Care Credit card that has a minimum balance of $1,000. The patient may ask for a higher balance if necessary. In any case, credit lengths for this payment plan start at 24 months. Other options include 36 and 48-month terms. If the patient is planning to borrow more than $2,500, he is given the option of paying his financing plan in a sixty-month term. The minimum monthly payment for this type of financing plan has a fixed amount and an additional APR is charged for every late payment. For regular payments, an APR rate of 14.9% is generally applied until the loan is completely paid off.

For other types of financing, Dr. Broc Pratt hired the best patient coordinators in the industry to help clients explore their options for financing. Aside from Care Credit, credit card payments using AMEX, Visa, and Master Card are also accepted.
