Elderly care – Some Health related problem.

As medical research stated that the organs of the body work in proper way till the age of sixty.

As we all aware that getting old has its own disadvantage which means with increase in the age physical functions slowly decline, some health related issues move stealthily and begin to affect the day-to-day routine of the senior person and visits of the doctor become predictable so, at this stage we have to provide more elderly care to them. As medical research stated that the organs of the body work in proper way till the age of sixty. When they attain this age then senior people are vulnerable to a wide range of health related problems which, means several organic processes work below their optimal level. So, below in this post there are some elderly health related issues or problems which, seems generally after the age of 60 to 70 years.

• Hearing loss – This is very common problem at this age, the person hearing ability and discriminate sound goes weaken which, is quite natural so don’t be upset and nervous because it is not affect on the normal communication, but the elderly faces partial deafness or hard of hearing which are general illness among the elderly people. As we all know that the progress in science and its technology, a wide variety of hearing aids available in the market today which are very well effective to the related hearing losses at this age. Tiny and digital programmable hearing aids are the newest devices that can help the elderly to understand people more easily. This is one of the health problems for elderly that has to be addressed early to provide the proper elderly care.

• Vision Problem – This is the second most common problem which grows along with the age increase. Once the elderly reaches at the age of 50 or 60 they can easily notice that their eyes cannot function well because aging can bring certain undesirable changes in the eyesight. If you know that your elderly suffer or they notice this problem then provide them urgent medical treatment to prevent further deterioration of the eyes. Minor eyesight related issues are often overcome by wearing spectacles, but the most common age related eye disorder like cataracts required a special type of elderly care.

• Problem due to Osteoporosis – As increase in age, a slight decrease in bone mass or density is observed which makes the bone weak and frail is known as osteoporosis. So there are highly possibilities of bone fractures due to minor fall or even coughing can put seniors in the risk.
