It is situated forty kilometers north of Kullu. The landscape here is magnificent. On one side on can see well defined snow capped peaks, while river Beas with its clear water meanders through the town. On the other side are deodar and pine trees, tiny fields and fruit orchards.
Manali is well connected by road with Delhi, Ambala, Chandigarh, Dehhradun, Haridwar, Shimla Dharmasala and Chamba. It also offers opportunities for various adventure sports.
