Honda has brought its experience in the motorbike industry to India and this has enabled Hero Honda to exploit this and come up with the best bike models that India needs no wonder it is a fact that every hour at least 10 units of bikes made by Hero Honda are sold in India. The bike is available in many outlets in India at a price of Rs 55,000 for the kick start variant and Rs 57,000 for the self start variant.

Hero Honda Hunk was produced for the first time in the month of October, the year 2007 and since then it has continued to attract many people to buying it. Because of the quality, this bike has gain more popularity among other bikes. Some of the features of this bike include: - speed of up to 112 kilometres per hour, high power of 14.4 and a torque of 12.8. The bike also has other features such as a manual transmission of 5 speed, single disk at the front and drum at the back types of brakes. Hero Honda Hunk also comes with a 149.2 cc engine type, 12.2 litres of fuel capacity and 1 litre oil capacity. It is claimed by the manufacturers that the engine of this bike has little fuel consumption and also less emissions. It also has a low fuel consumption of about 58 km per 1 litre. This bike also
offers comfort with a stepped seat and also with foot pegs at the back to ensure the bike rider is comfortable at all times when using the bike. The bike has shock absorbers to ensure that the rider does not suffer the effects of bumps or pot holes where applicable.

This bike is no doubt one of the best bikes available in the market to date and that can be backed by the two awards that this bike has won. In 2008 it was awarded the bike of the year award and later on it was awarded the viewers choice award all this in India.
