They may be in single or may be in numbers. Usually the grains are smaller in size but some of the kidney stone may be bigger also. These stones usually blocked the flow of urine.
You can easily detect about the condition of kidney stones by observing its symptoms. Usually the problem of kidney stones arises when there is a crystallization of certain minerals and chemicals. Initially these kidney stones are very smaller in size but gradually it grows larger up to size of one tenth of an inch and some times even bigger then this size. The important point of concern about the stone is not its size but the location of the stone in the kidney. The functions of the kidney remain as it was even after the presence of the stones.
Some of the important symptoms of kidney:
1. Feels severe pain during the passing out of the urine.
2. Having a frequent desire to urinate.
3. Suffers from scanty and painful urination, nausea and vomiting.
4. Severe pain just beneath the ribs, towards the side and back.
5. Change in the color of the urine likely red, pink and brown.
6. During the period of infection, you may suffer from fevers and chills.
Some of the important causes of kidney stones are wrong diet, wrong life style, lack of exercise, insufficient intake of fluids and many others. You can treat this condition with the help of home remedies. Some of the important home remedies:
1. Use of celery is very effective in treating the condition of stone.
2. Basil is also very effective in preventing as well as treating the condition of kidney stone. Take a spoon full of basil juice mixed with honey regularly for at least six months. It is said that in this treatment the stones are expelled from the urinary tract.
3. You must avoid the intake of alcoholic beverages, pickles and condiment, and also intake of certain vegetables must be avoided like cucumber, radish etc.
4. Try to take low protein diet and plenty of water as it will help to prevent the precipitation of salt into the form of stones.
5. Exercises and yoga asana are also very much effective. So try to perform them regularly.
