To avoid making a seasonal faux-pas, the trick is to get the right tone for the occasion and choose your outfit accordingly.
Christmas parties really do vary hugely. Some companies splash out on a fancy meal followed by a night on the tiles, while others are somewhat more low-key. If your office is keeping the celebrations in-house, a dress might look a little overkill, so keep it casual with some stylish ladies knitwear. And if not, just remember this - chances are everyone will be feeling too fragile the morning after to remember much about what you were wearing anyway!
