Hyundai Eon banged the Indian car market with “India is on” tagline. Hyundai Eon is offered in Indian market in 6 trims which are Hyundai EON D-lite, Hyundai EON Dlite (O), Hyundai EON Era, Hyundai EON Magna, Hyundai EON Magna (O) and the top model Hyundai EON Sportz. of base model is Rs.2.69 lakhs and the top end model costs of Rs.3.71 lakhs.
The company took 4 years of time in designing and development of Hyundai EON so that they can create the best car for Indian customers. As per the car maker the Hyundai EON will be giving 21.1 KMPL mileage. Hyundai EON is powered by 814cc engine. Hyundai EON is available in petrol variant only and will be giving maximum power of 56bhp at 5500 rpm which is enough for a small car. The looks of Hyundai EON is been inherited from Hyundai i10 and some things are also been inspired from Hyundai santro. Hyundai EON is very much inspired by the company’s fluidic design platform which is also used in other Hyundai cars. Hyundai eon has got its front look with Hyundai i10. The shoulder line and wheel arch’s are parallel to Mercedes c class in appearance. In order to lure youngsters Hyundai EON has got an exclusive curve rear with half moon like tale lights. The interiors of Hyundai EON are comfortable and decent. The high end model of Hyundai EON comes with advanced features like power steering, power window, air bag in driver side, keyless entry, fog lamps, metallic finish 3 spoke steering wheel. The car also come with digital gear shift indicator helping the driver to attain optimum gear usage and alternate management system which control power supply to battery depending on the usage and load thus reducing fuel consumption and increasing performance.
Hyundai Eon will be in direct competition with Alto, maruti 800 and Nano which after going through the features of Hyundai EON will not be able to stand as Hyundai EON is available with various models and features the customer will not feel the absence of any feature.
