The tourism industry in this state is working on bridging gaps between the metropolitan cities and this land, which is closer to the nature and pastoral lifestyle. Since every year, thousands of tourists visit this place, with an intention of spiritual tripping or getaway to unwind, the hospitality industry is getting fair chances to earn benefits from the same. Many international chains of hotels are coming up with their public houses in this area, thus adding value to the jobs in Himachal Pradesh.
Tourism and hospitality together gave a vent to the laid back life of the state and opened doors for many job seekers.. The tourism industry is also promoting the transportation sector of the state. As mostly the tourists are from different places and are not aware about the attraction of the state; they need aid of transport and guides, who can take them around. Therefore, these reasons support the boost in jobs in Himachal Pradesh also giving the transport sector a new life.

The rich and vibrant culture of the state also gave birth to various small scale industries. These small scale industries manufacture handicraft products, like shawl and carpets, that reflect a strong influence of state’s cultural and heritage. Since, this land is blessed with natural vegetation; there are fruit-bearing orchids. As fruits from Himachal are exported to different parts, there are units established for fruit preservation. These units employ local workers to take up small tasks as preservation units hence providing opportunities for jobs in Himachal Pradesh.
There are a couple of Government Hydro-Electric Projects and irrigation projects that are on the trot and are giving employment to engineers from different backgrounds. To give these projects a quick and accurate shape, the government often invite tenders from private companies. Then, there are options when these organizations invite applications from different part of the nation in order to fill up the jobs in Himachal Pradesh.
Thus, apart from tourism, it is these projects that open up the doors for people from other places to venture to this state.
