KTM is coming up with its first legal street bike in the Indian market by the name KTM Duke 125. The bike is going to create sensational effect in the Indian bike market as it is going to be one of its own kind.
KTM Duke 125 has come a long way with the concept of street bikes but the journey was not easy. KTM had to cross tons of legal hurdles which were brought up by the teasers, media etc on the way in order to enter their bike on Indian roads. But finally with all success its on the edge of launching this exclusive idea nurtured with hard work.
The official announcement about the unfolding of KTM Duke 125 production was made in Cologne at 2010 Intermot show. This moment was too special for the bike lovers as this was the first time that the first legal street bike was made face to face with them.
Certainly this bike is targeting the young generation of India. With this motto, the model is designed exclusively for them. Motivation from the youth can be easily seen in the designing of the model. Talk about style or power or technology or performance, KTM Duke 125 has it all.The bike is on the hit list of the bike enthusiast all over the globe.
As per the disclosure of its features, KTM Duke 125 will have an electronic limitation on the maximum speed of the bike. The maximum speed is kept at 80 Kmph. Though there is no compromise in the power as it is loaded with a Fuel-Injection engine with 4-stroke technology. The bike claims to have the most efficient suspensions and shock absorbers with a view to keep the bike free from shocks. KTM Duke 125 supports strong suspension. It comes with 43mm upside down fork and rear monoshock from WP offering 6.3 inches of travel. The tank capacity measures 11 liters which makes the total weight of 112 Kg.
