Parasites remain the most undiagnosed medical condition in America and the whole world. This is mainly because people do not think, or are in denial about the probability of parasite infestation.

Until the parasites symptoms become too much to bear, some people just take over-the-counter medicines for the stomach aches, itches and other symptoms.

There are over a hundred different types of parasites that can reside in and on the human body. The dictionary definition of parasite is "an organism that grows, feeds, and is sheltered on or in a different organism while contributing nothing to the survival of its host." The human body comprises of more than 100 types of parasites & worms living in the digestive system at any given point of time. Further these parasites multiply themselves by laying innumerable eggs in our body.

Human parasite and worm is nowadays, upcoming health ailment in all societies. Parasites' infestation could be primarily due to many diseases, illness and infections. Intestinal parasites can be cleansed off in very effective manner with the help of some natural therapies.

Flukes are distinct parasites that live in humans by attaching to organs such as the heart, brain, bladder, blood vessels, liver, and intestines. Fluke attacks can lead to organ inflammation or severe damage. Fluke eggs can easily be transported through the blood vessels, but since they have protruding spines, they can cause severe damage to the vessels. Some parasites live in the upper small intestines where the inflammation they cause triggers bloating and gas. Fourth is irritable bowel movement. Once parasites inflame and irritate the intestinal walls, various gastro-intestinal symptoms can be prevalent. Fifth is joints and muscle pains.

Some of the common symptoms of a parasitic infection in the body include one or more of the following: allergies, anemia, anxiety, chronic fatigue syndrome (CFS), constipation, depression, diarrhea, immune dysfunction, irritable bowel syndrome (IBS), joint and muscle aches and pains, nervousness, and sleep disorders. It's quite possible that even some of the symptoms hit close to home. Skin conditions and allergy also are also symptoms of parasites in humans that need to be observed.

Some parasites do not live on or in our bodies but they visit us at every opportunity. Most of these are insects which frequently are the bearers of deadly diseases. Some of these insects are the mosquitoes, ticks, fleas, leaches and some flies. Many of us are not socialized to know about parasites, and that is one reason we are sometimes surprised upon learning about their devastating effect.

The best defence that we have available to us is very largely in our own hands, literally. Personal hygiene is extremely important, with hand washing at number one before preparing food. The food itself must be thoroughly washed before cooking as faecal matter from birds and passing animals may well be present.

Some of the parasitic symptoms treatable with antibiotics include liver abscesses, fallopian tubes and ovary abscesses and bacterial peritonitis. Giardia lamblia is common intestinal parasite that causes diarrhea and abdominal pain. Luckily for most people, the parasite can be treated with antibiotics.
