Every essay will address some issue. To understand the issue and to make a conclusion about the issue you need help of research. Before starting a research you need to make a specific problem upon which you will be working. It might not be possible to address the whole issue because of your limited budget and time, so it is very essential to make a workable specific problem statement from the whole part.
A good research work is stand on good research methodology. That means you need to follow proper sampling techniques, proper data collection methods and proper analytical tools. There are mainly two types of sampling techniques one is non random or judgment sampling and another is random or probability sampling. Out of these two random sampling is more scientific. In a random or probability sample, we know that the chances are that, an element of the population will or will not be included in the sample. As a result, we can assess objectively the estimates of the population characteristics that result from our sample; that is, we can describe mathematically how objective our estimates are. There are four methods of random sampling- (a) Simple random sampling (b) Systematic sampling (c) Stratified sampling (d) Cluster sampling. After choosing the sampling technique you have to come to the field for actual collection of data. Though there are different methods of collecting primary data from the field one of the most popular and cheapest among them is the questionnaire method of data collection. The ‘questionnaire’ is a proforma containing a sequence of questions relevant to a research enquiry. It is used for collection of primary data from individual persons through their responses to the set of questions. The questionnaire is used in two ways. Very often, questionnaires are sent by post to individual informants who are required to write the answers against each question and return the completed form again by post. The method is very popular and is usually referred to as the ‘mailed questionnaire method’ of investigation. Sometimes, however, the enumerators (i.e. people employed for collection of data) themselves carry the questionnaires and note down the answers while interviewing the informants. In a research survey, especially when a questionnaire or schedule is used the investigator should conduct a pilot survey and verify whether the procedure to be adopted by him is efficient or not. Pilot survey is a small trial survey (survey of a few units) undertaken before the main survey is conducted. Based on the experience of the pilot survey, he may introduce necessary changes in his procedure. He may alter ill worded questions and make necessary changes in the questionnaire. Pilot survey will reduce inconveniences and loss due to ill worded questions, misinterpretation of questions, non response to questions etc.
The collected data is then analyzed with the best analytical tools so the result of the research can’t be questioned. The whole method with the subject is written in the persuasive essay so the readers find it interesting and at the same time of the highest quality.
