Project scheduling is one of the most important parts of a project. It means that a series of tasks have to be scheduled in the IT project planning process and the time it would take for its completion chalked out right down to the minutest detail.

3.Personal project management software that takes care of your personal PC at home.
4.A collaborative system that is designed so that many users can use it by a few modifications to some plan sections. Web based tools that include extranets and internets are parts of this category but these can only be used if the user has a live internet connection. Besides, this limitation can be addressed if a client server architecture is utilized and the project can be replicated on the desktop computer of each user. Any change is synchronized on the server and every one can look at it as well as gain access to it.
5.Then there is the integrated system that is able to combine project management with the IT project planning process and issues like tracking bugs, task lists, calendars and customer relationship management module are important components of the software.
