Think about the idea of every body on the street walking with a loaded gun for sake of personal protection, and shooting at the first sign of danger? There would be few men standing in the end. So to think about a non lethal weapon as a useful, uncomplicated and stealthy weapon of self defense is the best we could do to keep this place from not falling back into the times of the wild-wild west.
To have no way of self defense or a way out of a tough situation like a robbery or a mugging is something you would put yourself in to if you do not buy a non-lethal weapon to defend you from such attacks. The choice of the weapon would mean who won that situation, that attacker or you. One of the best weapons to get you out of any intimidating situation is the stun gun. Stun guns are handy and come in a multitude of shapes and sizes. The power output or the electricity that is discharged when a button or switch is pressed on the stun gun has the capacity to put a well built man out of action for a few minutes. These few minutes could mean the difference between being and not being a victim of a crime. When you have a stun gun at hand and are prepared to use it, then there is nothing much to fear if you are with strangers or walking through sparsely populated areas that might be prone to crime and other unlawful activities. It could be a drunken stranger on the road or a pick pocket or a mugger or a well known colleague misbehaving on the ride home - a stun gun at hand will give you the few precious moments that you can use to think of an escape or raise awareness of a crime. With a stun gun in hand, you are never far from a strategy for self defense.
