For Charles Phillips, success will only be achieved if one person equips himself with all the right knowledge alongside perfecting his skills over time. To accomplish future stability both financially and physically, Charles did whatever was needed from him to become who he is today. Mr. Phillips as many in the industry of Information Technology are perfectly aware of is the Chief Executive Officer of Infor, a company that is highly specialized in providing business software to mid-market companies. It holds a record of 2.2 billion dollar worth of annual revenue, and Charles is forever proud to be a part of this corporation. But before Charles was working at this company, he was first employed at the Oracle Company as its President, Oracle is also a business entity that caters the same products and services like Infor to the market and Charles was initially its Vice President. The great thing about Phillips is that his dedication to become the best resulted by being promoted in just one year from V. President to becoming the President of Oracle. Because of that, Charles committed seven long years to the company until he resigned from his Presidential post on September of 2009.

Charles Phillips however, didn’t just become this utterly successful person in a short amount of time; he worked hard for his achievements even all the way back during his college years. Charles, dedicated more than just 4 years of his student life to his passion and his goals, he didn’t just graduate with one diploma with a single degree. When he was studying in the United States Air Force Academy and taking up a Major in BS Computer Science, he was decided that this degree wouldn’t be enough. With that in mind, Charles quickly went to the Hampton University to then again enroll and receive the MBA Degree. Additionally, when he got two diplomas from the U.S. Air Force Academy and Hampton University, Phillips once more studied in the New York Law School to receive his final diploma and receive the JD Degree.

By the time Charles Phillips have graduated from these three schools, he was then ready to take on what the real business world has in store for him. With the best line up of academic background, he was easily hired to become a Managing Director at the Morgan Stanley Group. This was his first employment in the business realm, however Charles didn’t just stop at Morgan, he also embarked on other companies to work as a Director, and these establishments are the Jazz at Lincoln Center, the American Museum of Natural History and the Viacom Company. He also tried some banking institutions in Wall Street, and it was in this place where he immediately was plucked out to become the President of the Oracle Company.
