Bay Island Driftwood Museum: The museum beautifully displays the art of the sea near Kumarakom pier. Raji Punnoose, a retired teacher carved the driftwood pieces into various shapes of wildlife. The museum is open on all days except Mondays. Visiting time is between 10 am to 5 pm.

Aruvikkuzhi Waterfall: Cascading from a colossal height of 100m, the Aruvikkuzhi Waterfall is one of the most popular attractions in Kumarakom. Meandering through narrow sludgy path, the first sight of the waterfall is breath-taking. The descending water of the fall, joins numerous smaller streams. A perfect picnic spot, the place also offers an ethereal view of the sunset with the orange and golden hues scattered on the grey backdrop of sky.

Pathiramanal Island: 'Pathiramanal' meaning 'sands of night' is a stunning island in the Vembanad Lake. A favourite haunt for the migratory birds, the island takes you to a different world altogether. With a zoo and an aquarium, the place assures you of a perfect entertainment. You can also enjoy a lovely boat ride to the island.
