The Options Of Studying MBA Widening With The Associated XAT, MAT And SNAP Colleges

Entrance exams are many in the country nowadays and so are the numbers of colleges in which admissions can be taken through these entrance tests. Students are appearing in the entrance exams and are getting a benefit of huge proportions. By appearing in single entrance exams, if the students are qualified to take admissions in various colleges, then this is a great opportunity for them. They are no more required to appear in the entrance exams of each colleges as well are not subject to entrance exams that might be overlapping with each other.

MAT is an exam that is conducted four times in a year for the students wishing to pursue management courses in colleges in India. This test is conducted by the All India Management association. Under the aegis of AIMS there are many member colleges which account for the MAT colleges and students are eligible to take admissions in these colleges if they crack through the MAT entrance exam.

Students who are able to get through the entrance exams can get admissions into the above colleges which wouldn’t have been possible if each college had conducted their own tests. The advantages of the same nature are also incorporated in the XAT entrance exams which allow the students to go for the XAT colleges in various parts of the country, besides the few Xavier Institutions. These are also known as the Associated colleges and include Welingkars Institute of Management, SP Jain Institute of Management and Research, ITM Business School, Mudra Institute of Communication, Alliance Business Academy, Asia Pacific Institute of Management, Loyola Institute of Business Administration, etc.

Students who are appearing in the XAT exams and get good scores can apply for the XAT colleges on an individual basis where they can take admissions after their applications are accepted. Some colleges require the students to appear in the group discussions and the interviews where chances of not making it, is there. This means that the students should apply in more than one of these XAT or MAT colleges to finally go through the one.

The SNAP colleges are well known in the management circles and by the students as Symbiosis Institute is one of the oldest in the country. Under the SNAP colleges are included Symbiosis Institute of Business Management, Symbiosis Centre for Information Technology, Symbiosis Centre for Management and Human Resource Development, Symbiosis Institute of Computer Studies and Research, and a few more. For admissions into the SNAP colleges, the students can appear in the SNAP entrance exams which allow them to select the institute of their choice.
