Once there was a little boy who wanted to see God. He knew that God lived in a place which was very far away from him, so he packed up a suitcase with some bread and drinks in it and got ready to set off at once.

When he walked over three blocks, he met an old woman. She was sitting in the park and watching the pigeons. The little boy was a little interested in her, so he sat down next to her and opened his trunk. He was thirsty, wanting to drink a little beverage. He found the old woman seemed to be hungry, so he gave the old woman a piece of bread.
The old woman received the bread and responded to him with a smile of gratitude. Her smile was so beautiful that the boy wanted to see her laugh again. Therefore, he gave her a bottle of drink. She again smiled at him. The little boy was very happy!
They sat there all the afternoon. They were eating together and laughing at times, but they did not say a word to each other. Was it very strange and interesting?
The sky was getting dark. After a day’s walking, the boy felt very tired, so he got up and started to leave. Suddenly he turned back and went to the front of the old woman, hugging her enthusiastically. She also gave him one of the most brilliant smiles.
When the boy returned home, his mother was surprised when she found his face was filled with joy.
She asked: “What have you done today, so that you feel so happy?”
He replied: “I had lunch with God. You guess what? Her smile is the most beautiful smile I've ever seen!”
The old woman also happily returned home.
Her son was surprised at the serene look on her face, so he asked: “Mother, what did you do today? Why are you so happy?”
She replied: “Today, I ate bread with God in the park. I had a wonderful time with him. He’s much younger than I have imagined!”
