In the modern times trucker hats have become more than a free giveaway goodie and are sported by many famous celebrities like Ashton Kutcher, Justin Timberlake and Judah Friedlander, thus making it a high rated fashion accessory. It is but normal to ape your favorite celebrities and to incorporate their style and accessories in your personal lives.
Trucker hats, unlike the regular and conventional hats available in the market, are not made up of cloth and are composed of two different materials. One is the plastic mesh like covering in the back and the other is a foam front of the cap that stands stiff. It has a slightly curved extension in the front and that protects a huge area of the face from the sun. Smaller triangular sections of the plastic mesh and one large single triangular piece of the foam join at the center that is fitted with a button on the top of the cap. Due to the stiffness in the front foam, the trucker hat tends to look solid and gives a taller look to the hat bearer.
Baseball caps are made up of cloth so they do not stand stiff and moreover when a person perspires the sweat is easily noticed on the rim of the cap. On the contrary, trucker hats are lined in with sponge that absorbs the sweat and is easily dried off giving no dirty sweaty impressions on the outside. The plastic mesh has tiny holes that provide a lot of ventilation. These caps can be easily washed and dried and they attain the same shape and stiffness just as they had before washing.
These caps are widely used for promotional purposes where the brand name and their contacts are printed on the foam front of the cap. Since no one really says no to free trucker hats these promotional caps are a great way to advertise a brand not only to the wearer of the cap but also to those who see him. Moreover, the foam front can be customized with prints of your choice. The foam front and the plastic mesh are normally available in contradictory colors.
The plastic mesh is normally dark colored and the foam front is light colored making it even easier for the print on the foam front to look prominent. The back of the cap has a plastic adjuster which can be widened or narrowed according to the shape of the head. Thus these are highly preferred caps by people of all ages and gender. They look good on almost every one and give a rather smart look on the people who are spotted wearing these caps. These caps combined with a pair of stylish sunglasses are the perfect way to make a style statement of your own and is highly trendy and chic.
