Many couples quickly realize that doing some items themselves, is much more cost effective than hiring a professional. Sadly many couples make this decision when it comes to choosing a photographer for their big day. If you are going to do something yourself, let it be printing up the invitations, or some other small task.
Never cut costs when it comes to photography. Your wedding day is the first day of your lives together, a day in which every single moment should surely be remembered. Every tear, every smile, every emotion. The photographers job is to make sure that after the wedding is over, the couple can see everything they didn't see, through the lens of his camera. A professional photographer has a heavy responsibility indeed. One that could never be fulfilled by an untrained armature, or friend of the family who has decided they want to get out of giving a wedding gift by offering to photograph your wedding.
So when it comes to cutting costs, it is important to remember that cutting costs when it comes to a professional photographer will not be cutting costs, it will be losing memories. Take it from us, hire a professional.
