After oral taking, the capsule will go through the esophagus, stomach and enter into the small intestine. As we all know, the body temperature of body is about 37 ℃; the gastric juice is acidic and the intestine is alkaline; and the stomach and the intestine are constantly peristaltic. Therefore, the drug capsules equality should be evaluated according to the particular specifications and dissolution and artificial body environment. The drugs sold in market should be tested by the pharmaceutical quality control personnel, and some medicines should be spot checked by the drug test of all levels. So, they must be qualified enough. The esophagus is moist, but the local medicine concentration is excessive high, which will endanger the esophagus and cause mucosal injury or even ulceration.
The correct way is listed as follows: Prepare a cup of 100 ml warm water, and drink some water first to moisturize the throat and esophagus; then take the capsule with water to swallow them together with your head backward; drink the rest water to ensure the capsule has been flushed into the stomach. Do not pour out the content in capsule and take with water; other the functions of them could not play roles.
