Here comes another powerful machine from Yamaha as it is planning to launch the stunning Yamaha FZ 250 by mid 2011.

Here comes another powerful machine from Yamaha as it is planning to launch the stunning Yamaha FZ 250 by mid 2011. With an expected prize range of 1 to 1.5 lakhs and exquisite features it is going to be a tough competition for the coming Bajaj pulsar 250 and Honda CBR 250 R. The classy looks, advanced technologies such as fuel injection, liquid cooling and four valve motors, FZ is sure to make many heads turn!

The design theme of Yamaha FZ series was naked styling. The FZ 250 is not an exception. It has the powerful 250 cc engine with fuel injection, four valve and liquid cooled. It has a power of 20 to 24 HP and offers a maximum torque of 20.5 Nm. The advanced fuel injection technology makes sure efficient fuel consumption. The fuel tank capacity is 18 liters with 3.2 liters as reserve. The front disc brakes are 320 mm with dual hydraulic and rear disc brakes are 245mm with single hydraulic. It has an electric start, anti skid seats, a digital display of fuel gauge, analog tachometer, speedometer, turn indicator signal, trip meter, clock, water temperature and lights for neutral, high beam etc. The seats are anti skid, long and stylish and give a wonderful pleasure of riding comfortably. Not necessary to mention that the body is classy and aerodynamic. The black colored rearview mirrors also add to the beauty of this bike.

Yamaha FZ has an aluminum body work and properly placed handlebars and comes with many comfort features. It has a look that is very sporty and impressive .It is very powerful and robust. The alloy wheels make the bike more aggressive. The tyres are very broad and huge and thereby reduce the possibilities accidents while riding in difficult roads. The risk of skidding and slippery in water surfaces are also less. The suspension system is also very robust that provide stable and comfortable ride. It absorbs maximum shock in bumpy and jerky roads and the rider will not have to worry about it.

It appears mainly in 3 colors, black, red and white. The engine is supposed to be mated with five or six speed gear box. The design of the bike seems to be evolved from Yamaha 153 cc bikes. The tail lamps are based on R1 LED tail lights.
