With all Apple mobile devices, you talk only in millions, without exception that is. The Apple iPhone 4S, the latest entrant in the iPhone series is actually an exception to this norm. As perhaps for the first time in the history of the Cubertine Company’s products, a mobile phone product is selling in multiple millions within a couple of days of its official launch in over 70 markets worldwide. Now, this is a happy, and win-win situation for all concerned – the maker, the network service providers, mobile phone retailers, and last but not the least the valued customers.
As data and sales reports are trickling is pouring in from all the established mobile phone market sources, it is now as clear day light what we are witnessing is nothing short of `phenomenal'. It is reliably learnt now that within the first three day of its hitting the mobile phone store shelves, the Apple iPhone 4S sold out over four million units in these markets globally. What is more, most of these were pre-orders and there is virtually a stampeded among die hard Apple fans who somehow wants to lay their hands on this coveted smartphone device.
Several factors are responsible for this stupendous success of the fifth generation iPhone. First and foremost, as always, Apple has led the way where it matters the most. The sheer display of technology in all its varies and bedazzling brilliance. The Phone 4S 16GB White has probably an overdose of it and the potential buyers simply are bowled over by this show of technological prowess.
Then the timing, Apple waited and waited and released it when the market had seen and had its fill of the Samsung Galaxy S2 and the HTC Sensation, the other two contenders for the top smartphone slot. Then of course the voice command feature called the `Seri' that simply seems to have floored one and all. Of course, Apple has gone to town with its marketing blitzkrieg and shouted from the roof top about this feature everywhere.
