Bank of Maharashtra recruitment 2012 has announced openings to fill up various posts. The eligibility criteria laid down by the bank management is as follows-
• The candidate’s must have a bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 60% marks or a master’s degree with a minimum of 55% marks.
• The candidate must have Computer Literacy.
• The candidate must be either a citizen of India or a subject of Nepal/ Bhutan or any person with Indian originality who have shifted to India from Burma/ Sri Lanka/ Pakistan/ East African countries etc.
• Bank of Maharashtra will carry out written examination for eligible candidates. The entrance exam will be done in 3 different stages- a written examination will be followed by a group discussion and finally an interview.
• Written test will be of descriptive and objective nature. The objective questions will be on Quantitative Aptitude, General Awareness, Reasoning, and English. The descriptive questions will be based on communication skills and socio- economic development.
• The descriptive test paper will be checked of those candidates who have scored high percentage in objective test paper.
• Candidates belonging to ST or SC categories will get concessions as per the government guidelines.
• The age limit for the post of PO is between 21 to 30 years and for the post of clerk, the age is between 21 to 28 years. Age relaxation is offered to SC/ST aspirants only as per government rules
• There will be application fee concession as well for SC/ST/OBC candidates.
