Fujairah is an important emirate in UAE (Unites Arab Emirates) after Dubai and Abu Dhabi. This fifth largest emirate in the country is located on the Gulf of Oman unlike others that are in Persian Gulf. The economy of emirate is based on subsidies and grants by government; local industries of mining, cements & stone crushing and flourishing free trade zones creating jobs in Fujairah.
Both business and services sectors have been growing in Fujairah ever since the government relaxed its norms. The commercialization of the economy is hugely promoted by the ruler (in Abu Dhabi, the seat of power) and includes major boost in tourism and construction industries.
