Have you ever been in a position where you completely forgot that it was your special someone’s birthday and too late, you realize you didn’t get her a present? Forgetting a loved one’s birthday hurts enough but when it is the woman in your life that you forgot, wow, if that doesn’t put you in the doghouse then it will certainly be the most memorable time of your life when the cat in the woman surfaces spitting and hissing. Women love jewelry, but not necessarily diamonds. Some women don’t like diamonds at all and prefer the creamy tones of the pearl. If you know your woman then you would know her taste in jewelry, if she likes the big chunky ones or the simple ones. Be careful though with how the jewelry is packaged, earing boxes look exactly the same as ring boxes and if they receive it when on a romantic dinner or lunch together, they may assume something else. Taking them to a romantic dinner and probably a play or dancing will make her day, probably her month or even year. Enjoy yourselves by having a relaxing night out and away from the usual when you just stay at home. If there are kids, surprise your woman by coming home to a home cooked meal without kids so you can have time alone together. Send the kids to grandma or even with their cousins for the night, explain what the event is and be surprised that people will readily help out to give you that time alone. Wining and dining is not just for restaurants, if can lead to a more romantic evening at home for the rest of the night.
If you want to have some fun along the way, surprise her with little clues that she has to complete. This can be a fun and exciting activity that will surely make her feel loved and secure because you made efforts to doing something for her. Don’t disappoint her with a so-so prize, make it so that it was worth her scavenging efforts, like yourself complete with ribbons?
Flowers are always good, especially if they come with presents that are as unexpected as they are romantic. Being romantic doesn’t mean that they should be expensive, hey even a really sexy negligee is a surprise and a gesture by itself. Women love to be pampered, so why not pamper her in return. It just takes a little bit of imagination and the results could be mind blowing if you get it right.
