They must have a valid score card that has been issued by the IBPS. Corporation Bank has come into being as a Canara Banking Corporation. This has happened on the 12th of March 1906 in the town of Udupi that is considered to be a temple town. This has happened only due to the pioneering efforts put in by the visionaries. The functioning of the bank had started just with Rs 5000 as its capital. However, after the first day ended, the resources stood at 38 rupees.

Under the Corporation Bank recruitment 2012, there are total 355 posts. The age should be more than 20 years. However, it must not exceed beyond 30 years of age as on 01.07.2011. The candidate should either be a subject of Bhutan, a subject of Nepal, a citizen of India or a Tibetan refugee who has come to India for permanently settling there. The graduation of the candidate has to be completed from a very recognized university. He should score at least 55 percent marks. The marks for ST, SC and PWD are 50 percent. A minimum IBPS score is also required. For general category, the marks required are 25 marks in every subject. The aggregate marks should be 151. For reserved categories, 21 marks are required for each subject. 126 marks are required for SC and ST, 141 marks are required for the OBC. 106 marks are required for PWD categories. Candidates who are in the final year should not apply. They must have a basic knowledge about computers. There is a 5 years relaxation in upper age limit for SC and ST. For OBC, there is a 3 years relaxation. For PWD, there has been a 10 years relaxation. For more information and details on the eligibility criteria, one can visit the website of corporation Bank. The application fees are 200 for candidates belonging to general category. The fees for candidates belonging to ST, SC and PWD are 50 rupees. A person can pay the fees at any branch of Corporation Bank. This can be done through NEFT payment. After payments, application can be given by the candidate. Two print outs of the application should be taken out by the candidate. An original passport size photograph along with payment challan should accompany the application form.

Selection for the corporation bank recruitment 2012 will be made on the basis of the marks that have been obtained in IBPS examination. The interview will be of 100 marks as well.
