These colleges can come under the ambit of common entrance tests or each college or a small group of colleges can raise their student quota by conducting their own exams.
XAT 2012 will be one of the various common entrances that can help the students secure seats in the Xavier Institutes. This exam is conducted for the seats in the other management institutes which are also affiliated to the XAT test. During a stipulated period in the month of January, the application can be put. After getting the scores, the students can apply for different institutes which come under the purview of the XAT 2012 as it helps remain in the same side as the Xavier Institutes.
