UAE is a very popular destination for job among foreigners. The job opportunities in UAE have been growing with time. Few of the major cities in UAE have adopted the cosmopolitan culture and have therefore witnessed developments in most of its cities. Dubai and Abu Dhabi are among the most developed states, which have bunch of job opportunities for people coming from all backgrounds. The candidates applying for jobs in UAE are always looking for better opportunities to give their career a better move. The cultures and the customs of UAE have always been tough for the candidates to adopt and implement the same. The candidates looking for job in UAE have to be very well versed with the rules of country and what can or cannot land them into danger. They usually prefer doing a proper research before going to any of the countries in UAE for job. The strict working rules in UAE have always acted as a barrier for the foreign workers to settle in the country with their families.

But with the changing times, new reforms and laws are getting introduced in UAE, which gives space to the employees to live their life in a more refined way. According to a report, issued by Dubai government, UAE has initiated a new work permit for foreigners working in the states of UAE, which will allow them to change their jobs after a period of two years without experiencing a ban for six-month of leaving their job. Following are few of the conditions, which the candidates have to stand true on, for applying for the new work permit:

• Only the employers in UAE, who have completed their two years with their previous organisation, will be issued the new work permit.
• Even the workers who have not completed their entire six- month ban will be given the new work permit from the January of 2011.

• The new rules can be adopted by the Expatriates, working in UAE, who have completed their two years with the current employer, without serving the work ban for six months.

• The completion of two year period with the current employee is important, before the switching of jobs in UAE.

• If an employee has cancelled his UAE residence visa and comes back to UAE on the basis of a visit visa then he will not be given a work permit before the time period of two-year gets expired.

This is a very inspiring step to invite applications of more job seekers in the companies located in UAE. Now the employees can also bring their families along, because of their continuance in work. Also, this rule supports the fact, that employers cannot force employees to work with them, if they are not willing to work with their company.

It gives the freedom to employees to choose the job of their interest, after getting groomed in their previous organisation for a while. The issuing of a new work permit, shortly after completing two years in the current job, is very beneficial for the employee and doesn’t let him waste his time of six months in serving the ban. The candidates are always required to be updated with the latest rules and regulations being reformed for the benefit of the employees. This would help the employees to have a better view of their work and can shape their future in a lucrative manner. Job seekers from across the world, which include Indians also looking for jobs in UAE, and UAE government, are in process of making more of such reforms, which would attract more employees to the country, adding to its growth and development.
