There are some specialist restaurants of Italian, French, Asian and sea food. They provide you with the best taste and most nutritious food with local used ingredients. As its population is concerned the restaurant business is growing at a very rapid rate and new restaurants are opening most of them serving some thing different. The increase is so rapid that it is being awarded with title of “Delicious Destination of the year: A rising city with a fast growing food scene” in year 2007.
Along with restaurants there is one more special thing about Portland are the Coffee houses that have there own splendid and different taste. As an account there are twenty major coffee houses in Portland which are the center of attraction. The famous coffee brand Stumptown Coffee Roasters is the product of Portland. It was established in 1999 and has two other branches one in New York and one in Seattle. Along with some famous coffee brands some small yet good coffee roasters are also working. Not only food is good in restaurants some cafes are also making there place in the market as they are providing something that is special.
The famous China town as its name shows has almost all the variety of Chinese foods with the same great taste.You are in Portland and you have not dined in the famous restaurant that has the view of Niagara Falls at its back. The height and the scene behind it is so appealing that it is irresistible for people to go there and spend time.The restaurants offering Japanese food can be found in every part of the city like Downtown, Woodstock or any other place you are.
